When I "met" Nicole I knew instantly she was looking for something elegant & nice while at the rustic tropics. Damon had background in the area. His father Ray owns a house in Mal Pais. Casa Capitan was the perfect spot for this one! I guess the hot "details" here were our golden sequence runners, golden rim glasses, and beautiful calligraphy by yours truly! Let's not forget the swing, Nicole's must have! A "flowered swing" ! They were so sweet & I loved every minute of it.

After going to Manuel Antonio and other areas of the country, due to my suggestion, they ended up in Santa Teresa... as I had expected, they quickly fell in love with place. Casa Capitan was the perfect venue from the get go... Balinese architecture, luxury, comfor

When they said... "our date is December 31st 2016", I thought, 'thats crazy'! But, we did it, and it was great! It was hard to find the perfect venue, with availability and that could fit their group of 80... Santa Teresa gets booked well in advance for these dates. I am not sure why Koji's restaurant popped into my mind as soon as our first meeting... its a Japanese cuisine restaurant so not everybody would like that for their wedding dinner, but Alex and Raco (Alexandra's
We had been planning the wedding for a bit over a year... we were ready, everyone was ready. The date was November 24th, Thanksgiving Day. Two days before I start seeing on the news alert about a random hurricane coming down to Costa Rica, something that has never happened before in our time! I start getting calls... Elizabeth's wedding reception was set on the beach... and the vendors started calling, they didn't know if they would make it, the tent rental was backing out..
Anna and Per... ! I met them here, in Santa Teresa, my home town. Anna contacted me and we met at a small italian cafe, Ginger Cafe, for some coffee and breakfast, they were planning their destination wedding in Santa Teresa. Anna already had a very clear idea of what she wanted, and Per had a simple request... a morning ceremony. At their favorite spot. Bright and early with the sun. After that a terrific brunch at the beach, mimosas.... fresh juices, great food. Then everyo
